Avrohom Brun was a sweet person and always happy and in good mood. You could feel this in his music and in his prayers. He came to Israel at a relatively young age and picked up the special Israeli flavor of music which uses a lot of modal structure and incorporated them in his compositions. Avrohom Brun is little known, but I am listing on my Web Page Chazonim, who I feel contributed to enrich the Chazonus music and who influenced me personally as a Chazan. One of Brun’s most beautiful prayer is the “Yaaleh V’yovoy”.
